David Beckham: "It was a truly special goal..."

David Beckham scored his first goal for AC Milan in a 4-1 Serie A
win at Bologna on Sunday. Making his third consecutive start for AC Milan and playing the full 90 minutes. He made his first goal in the 60th minute. Brazilian teenager Pato set up the goal with a surging run up the middle before passing the ball to Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf on his right. Seedorf, who had scored Milan's tying goal, immediately passed to a wide-open Beckham, who raced into the penalty area and unleashed a rising shot that beat Bologna goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli as it flashed just inside the right post.
"It was a truly special goal, just as it is special for me to be playing here" in Italy, said Beckham, who is on a two-month loan from the Galaxy to AC Milan.
"Scoring today was fantastic, but apart from this, the most important thing for me and the team is that we won. Now we are close to Inter, but we must still think about ourselves, remain concentrated and continue winning." He added.
Asked about his future. would he stay at Milan? He just anwsered "The future? We'll have to see," Beckham said. "I want to enjoy my time with AC Milan, like I've always said. It's a fantastic experience and I'm having a great time."
"I can't say what will happen," PA Sport quoted him as saying on Sunday. "Even if my contract says that I'll be here until March."

The improvement in his game has naturally led to increased speculation about Beckham staying with Milan, and the midfielder has not exactly discouraged such thoughts.
The Former England captain is only on loan from LA Galaxy until March 9, but Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was delighted with Beckham's performance, but insists the club can do nothing to keep him at the San Siro.
"If he said 'we'll see' it means he's thinking about staying," Ancelotti told Sky Italia. "However, our hands are tied as he has a clear contract. I am realistic, we are capitalising on his presence at the moment and so, while we have him at our disposal, we will try to do things the best way possible."
