Milan are running

The first few minutes confirmed Milan's good moment of form, that allowed the Rossoneri to control the match with a high rhythm. Palermo, meanwhile, lacked a genuine striker, and on the counterattack they used the runs towards the center of Miccoli and Cavani.
After only 8 minutes Milan opened the scoring. Ambrosini penetrated into the area and was blocked with a foul by Cassani. For the referee it's a penalty which Kaka converted by putting it past Amelia with a precise shot toward the bottom left corner.
In the 20th minute came the second Milan goal Kaka played it to Ambrosini who with a perfect cross into the area found Filippo Inzaghi, who confirmed he is a true goalscorer and notched his 10th goal from the past seven games.
The Rosanero answered through Miccoli, who tried to surprise Dida in the 33rd minute with a nice shot from distance, while 5 minutes later Cavani missed the target on a free kick.
The first half ended with a nice curling shot by Kaka which went wide.
Palermo's hopes for a comeback faded when their defender Cesare Bovo was dismissed on 48 minutes, and entirely vanished after a second penalty converted from Kaka.
With no danger anymore, Carlo Ancelotti replaced Seedorf to Ronaldinho and Inzaghi to Shevchenko. In the 70th minute Pirlo came close to a fourth goal with a nice shot from distance.
Ronaldinho, Shevchenko, and Zambrotta still tried, in that order, but the result didn't change. For Milan it was the 5th consecutive victory in the league.
