Udinese-Milan 2-1

After flown for few moment, Milan must be landed at Friuli. It finished Udinese-Milan 2-1, in the second anticipated match of the 36th matchday of Serie A at the Stadio Friuli of Udine.

Seventh-place Udinese opened the scoring in the 31st minute when Milan captain Paolo Maldini brought down Antonio Floro Flores. Gaetano D'Agostino scored on a penalty kick for his 10th goal of the season.

In the 49th minute, Cristian Zapata put Udinese in control, sliding the ball home after being set up by D'Agostino. Massimo Ambrosini scored for AC Milan in the 90th minute.

The game saw a juxtaposition of styles; while AC Milan controlled possession most of the game, Udinese took full advantage of its touches on offense. The home side tallied 26 shots, nine of which were on target. AC Milan, despite their number of possessions, only managed three quality shots on goal.

It is Udinese's first home win against AC Milan since 2003. The victory keeps them close to a qualifying spot for the European play next season.

And as personal for Maldini, Captain Maldini celebrated his 900th match with Milan's shirt. In the same stadium as his first official match, with Liedholm on the bench It happened on 20 January 1985, the Sunday of the Serie A debut of Cesare's son.

Milan still needs three points to guarantee a Champions League spot next season.
