Look at the future

AC Milan defender Daniele Bonera was quoted by official website on the reasons behind the defeat 1-2 by Sampdoria in matchday 26 and spoke about the attitude to use from now until the end of the season.

"In the first half we did little to try and win, we did not play. This defeat must make us reflect.

"It was not easy for the coach to field today's formation considering the many missing players. We played with the 4-4-1-1 which allowed us to play in a more orderly way, but it was the team's attitude which was wrong.

"The match against Werder has surely influenced our mood, because the Uefa Cup was one of the declared season objectives. The elimination burns us, but we cannot cry on spilt milk. Now every Sunday it will be important to maintain the third place. We still have twelve games available, we are still ahead of the other Champions League competitors, therefore the games which are missing will all be important and difficult. In the mean time we must put behind our backs this defeat and look at the future."
