Ancelotti says yes to Abramovich

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti will replace Guus Hiddink next season. The coach would have said yes to Abramovich.

According to the tabloid The Sun, Ancelotti would have accepted a three-year contract of about 6.5 million euros per year and from next season he will be the new Chelsea coach.

Real Madrid also wanted him, but Abramovich contacted Ancelotti first, immediately after sacking Scolari. Ancelotti still has a one year contract with the Rossoneri, but there is already a verbal agreement with president Berlusconi for a termination next summer.

Hiddink will return to work full-time for the Russian national team.

Sources in England and Italy claim the 52-year-old Italian, who was reported to be the Blues' first choice to replace Big Phil Scolari but was unwilling to leave Milan during mid-season.

And there is a rumour if Ancelotti may go, Cagliari current coach Massimiliano Allegri will replace him.
