Frederic Kanoute is another striker to strengthen AC Milan

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has asked for another striker to strengthen AC Milan next season. The first choice would be Eto'o (Barcelona) and Adebayor (Arsenal), but an alternative could be another African player.

According to AS Frederic Kanoute is a possible candidate. The 31-year-old's current contract with Sevilla expires in 2010 and the Spanish side are thought to be keen on extending his deal.

Sevilla striker Fredi Kanoute has welcomed talk of a move to AC Milan. The former Tottenham forward said: "My ambition has always been to play for a big and quality team and to be linked to Milan is a fantastic feeling."
