Galliani: Think of the Scudetto would be crazy

The Rossoneri may feel happy with their peformance at the moment, especially after they collected a spectacular 5-1 victory over Torino at the San Siro. With 64 points, the Rossoneri leapfrogging Juventus to take second place on goal difference.

However, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has urged fans not to get their hopes up.

"We have managed to recover a seven-point difference in just a few days. However, to think of the Scudetto would be crazy," he suggested to Sky, clearly in a positive mood after the impressive performance of his side.

"There are still 18 points left in the season, eight points will suffice for Inter, but they will certainly get many more."

Milan face high-flying Palermo next weekend, who also grabbed a resounding victory by defeating relegation-threatened Bologna 4-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Renzo Barbera.
