The Future of Ronaldinho

Milan - At press conference ahead the match against Udinese, AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti also talked about the future of Ronaldinho.

"Our will is that of holding on to Ronaldinho," he told Milan Channel, "but then if the player wants to leave for many reasons, we will evaluate."

The player who only moved to the San Siro from Barcelona last year, but has endured a difficult time in Serie A and has regularly found himself benched by Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti because of his less consistence in every games at the current season.

Previously, reports had suggested that Ronaldinho was ready to head home, with the Brazilian top-flight in the news because of the decision of Brazil internationals Ronaldo and Adriano's to join Corinthians and Flamengo respectively but the former FIFA World Player of the Year in both 2004 and 2005's representative and brother Roberto de Assis has made it clear that a homecoming for his brother is out of the question.

"There is no possibility he leaves Europe right now," he told the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper. "If you ask me if he may change clubs in Europe, then I would say yes,"

But cash-rich Manchester City, who were linked with a bid for Ronaldinho before he joined the Italian club, may return to pair the attacker with compatriot Robinho.
