GALLIANI: PERTANDINGAN DERBY MELAWAN INTER TIDAK AKAN MENENTUKAN SCUDETTO

Milan, Forza Milan - Wakil presiden AC Milan, Adriano Galliani mengklaim pertandingan derby melawan Inter Milan hanyalah sekedar pertandingan biasa dan tidak berpengaruh apa-apa bagi Milan dalam perebutan gelar scudetto Liga Italia Serie A.

"Derby della Madoninna" demikian sebutan antara dua klub dalam satu kota di Milano yang berseteru sejak berdirinya hingga kini apabila mereka berhadapan satu sama lainnya ini, akan berduel pada 24 Januari mendatang. Namun demikian sang wakil presiden, Galliani tidak berani sesumbar jikalau Rossoneri bisa memenangkan dalam duel klasik tersebut lantas Milan akan meraih gelar scudetto.

"Derby tidak akan menentukan scudetto," demikian penjelasan Galliani pada La Republicca, Kamis lalu.

"Kami tidak tegang. Ini hanyalah pertandingan melawan Inter, sebuah pertandingan yang kini memasuki tahun yang ke-102."

Selisih poin yang terpaut cukup jauh antara kedua klub, yakni delapan poin ditambah penampilan Inter yang cukup stabil sepanjang musim membuat orang kedua Milan tersebut tidak berani gegabah untuk memastikan klub dapat meraih gelar yang terbaik pada Liga Italia Serie A musim 2009/2010 kali ini bila Milan mampu menekuk Inter.

Informasi terakhir, Inter Milan dalam pertandingan tandang mereka ditahan imbang 2-2 oleh Bari. Dengan demikian Milan yang baru memainkan pertandingannya yang ke-19 melawan Siena di San Siro, Minggu (17/1) dari jadwal yang sebenarnya yang sudah memasuki matchday 20 menyisakan partai tunda melawan salah satu tim kuat Liga Italia lainnya, Fiorentina yang terpaksa diundur akibat cuaca buruk saat itu, kini terpaut sembilan angka dari rival satu kota mereka.

Apabila Ambrosini Cs mampu mengambil keuntungan dengan memenangi pertandingan melawan Siena, setidaknya selisih poin dengan pemuncak klasemen sementara dapat direduksi menjadi enam poin. Galliani: Sangat Mungkin Bekham Ke Milan

Milan-Vice presiden AC Milan Adriano Galliani menyatakan kemungkinan besar David Beckham akan bergabung kembali dengan klub dengan status pinjaman dari LA Galaxy pada transfer window bulan Januari mendatang.

"sangat mungkin Beckham akan datang ke Milan sebagai pemain pinjaman hingga 30 Juni 2010, namun saya belum bisa memastikan sebelum adanya tanda tangan," kata Galliani pada pertemuan di Monaco pada hari Senin, menurut kantor berita ANSA.

Tim Leiweke, kepala eksekutif Anschutz Entertainment Group, yang memiliki Galaxy, pekan lalu mengatakan bahwa ia ingin kesepakatan untuk Beckham kembali ke Milan akan rampung dalam waktu dua minggu.

Galliani: I like Spalletti, but Ancelotti is staying

Galliani: There’s Only One Kaka

"There’s Only One Kaka...". declared AC Milan vice President Adriano Galliani to Milan Channel at the end of Catania-Milan 0-2.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani expressed his satisfaction for his side’s 2-0 win against Catania on Sunday afternoon. With four matchdays to go before the end of the season, one away from the direct clash against Juventus, there is now a four point advantage over the Bianconeri.

Galliani: I hope Beckham stays

AC Milan wants David Beckham. It has never hidden it. AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said on Wednesday that he is still hopeful David Beckham will return to the Italians next season despite reported interest from Tottenham.

"I hope Beckham comes back to us but from now until the January transfer window he will definitely be in Los Angeles." said Galliani, at the airport before leaving for Budapest

The current agreement provides that in July, the English midfielder will return to play in the United States.
For its part, Milan is already prepared to welcome Beckham back in January 2010, when he will be free from his contract with Los Angeles Galaxy.

The rossoneri however are not the only interested party. According to The Sun, Tottenham would also be courting Beckham. The English club’s manager, Harry Redknapp would be trying to persuade the midfielder to return to England starting from next autumn, when the Major League Soccer is finished. Spurs were the team that Beckham loved when he was a child.

Galliani: Think of the Scudetto would be crazy

The Rossoneri may feel happy with their peformance at the moment, especially after they collected a spectacular 5-1 victory over Torino at the San Siro. With 64 points, the Rossoneri leapfrogging Juventus to take second place on goal difference.

Galliani: There is no negotiation for the sale of Ricardo Kaka

AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has denied allegations that he met with Real Madrid to discuss the transfer of Brazilian star Kaka, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Tuesday.

"The reality is that there is no negotiation for the sale of Ricardo Kaka."

Spanish daily Marca said on Monday that Real agreed in March with Galliani to pay 60 million euros (80 million dollars) for the 2007 Fifa World Player.

"However, I'm certain that if one day Florentino wanted to buy Kaka, he would come directly to me, without making a detour. Therefore I'm calm. Milan consider Kaka not for sale and Florentino will realize it."

The Madrid-based sports daily claims that Perez, who is set to win the upcoming presidential elections at the Santiago Bernabeu, agreed with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani to sign the Brazilian during a meeting on March 16.

Kaka could move to Real Madrid if Florentino Perez becomes president

AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani has hinted Kaka could move to Real Madrid if Florentino Perez becomes president of the Spanish champions.

The Brazil star opted to remain in Italy but reports suggest Madrid will make a firm attempt to bring him to the Bernabeu this summer.

Galliani admits it would be tougher to resist an approach from the Primera Liga side if Perez wins the presidential elections.

"I don't want to talk about Kaka, but I can say that with friends like Florentino anything can happen," said the Milan chief in quotes reported by Spanish sports daily Marca.

"Florentino Perez is a great entrepreneur and a good friend and I say that about few football chiefs."
