PIRLO INGIN MENGAKHIRI KARIRNYA BERSAMA MILAN

Milan - Gelandang bertahan AC Milan, Andrea Pirlo ingin mengakhiri karirnya sebagai seorang pesepakbola profesional bersama Milan. Hampir bergabung dengan Chelsea dan Carlo Ancelotti pada awal musim panas lalu, Pirlo merasa tidak menyesal dengan mengambil keputusan untuk tetap bertahan di San Siro dibawah asuhan Leonardo.

"Saat membuat keputusan, anda harus memikirkannya masak-masak," kata Pirlo pada La Gazzetta dello Sport sebagaimana dilansir oleh goal.com.

"Saat pertama sepeninggal Ancelotti, memanglah aneh tidak lagi melihatnya di ruang ganti. Namun lambat laun kami jadi terbiasa." tambahnya.

Sebagaimana diketahui, Sosok Ancelotti adalah orang yang paling berpengaruh dalam karir gelandang bernomor punggung 21 ini selain Carlo Mazone mantan pelatihnya di Brescia dulu. Dimana dalam strateginya, Ancelotti merevolusi peran Pirlo yang sejatinya adalah trequartista atau penyerang lubang yang berada di belakang striker, merombaknya sebagai "the deep playmaker" dengan menempatkan Pirlo sebagai playmaker yang berada di depan pemain belakang.

"Aku tidak merasa bernostalgia," ungkap Pirlo, "Leonardo melakukannya dengan baik begitu juga kami," tambahnya.

Kontrak Pirlo bersama Milan berlaku hingga 2011 dan berharap bisa segera meneken kontrak baru dan berharap untuk bisa tinggal lebih lama bersama Rossoneri.

"Aku harap bisa mengakhiri karir bersama Milan. Aku dikontrak hingga 2011 dan berharap bisa tinggal lebih dari batas waktu tersebut," pungkasnya.

AC Milan deepplaymaker Andrea Pirlo optimistic of AC Milan's title chances. The Rossoneri managed to beat Cagliari 1-0 at San Siro in a difficult game for the home side.
