Beckham: Milan belong to the Champions League
David Beckham will continue his career as a Rossonero until 30 June 2009. The announce was made on Sunday afternoon just before the Rossoneri's home match against Atalanta.
Just as he gets to stay in the Rossoneri until the end of the season, David Beckham expresses another wish. Milan's player have number 32 shirt said:
"I have remained to help the team to qualify for the next Champions League, Milan belong to the Champions League and I hope to take part in it as well."
"I'm playing in one of the biggest clubs with many of the best players in the world and then of course for the chance to play the World Cup in 2010."
From 6 January to today, in sixty days, Beckham has played 16 matches in total: 15 with the Rossoneri shirt number 32 of which 11 official, 4 friendlies, and one with the English national team. One match every four days, in which David David gave the demostration of his great qualities as a footballer. To the Milan fans he gave two goals, one more beautiful than the other, and many assists to his team mates... and all in less than three months.
