Napoli-Milan: A positive draw

A draw that all in all satisfies Carlo Ancelotti and Gianluca Zambrotta:

"A positive draw even though we could have made better use of our chances in the first half. We couldn't manage to pick up speed, and take advantage of the numerical superiority there was in certain phases of the first half.

"Then, in the second half, the match was more balanced, they had some more chances. We became a bit more spread out, more unbalanced, and Napoli gained confidence: I'd say the result was right. On our part we showed the right determination."



Gianluca Zambrotta also expressed his satisfied:


"This draw against Napoli here at the San Paolo is certainly a good draw. We knew it wasn't an easy pitch. In this stadium many big teams teams have struggled and so it's an important result for the standings after our victories against Atalanta and Siena.

We played a good match both in defence and in midfield, perhaps we could have done something more. We failed some shots on goal, but in the end it was important to get a point."
