AC Milan are eyeing Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes. The Rossoneri are in the market for a new keeper following the knee injury suffered by Christian Abbiati.

And it's a good chance for the Italian giant to get him. Valdes is locked in talks with Barca over a new contract, with his current deal having little over 12 months to run.

"There is still a long time left on the deal and things are yet to be decided, but we would like something to be laid out with his basic salary being improved," Valdes' agent, Gines Carvajal, told AS.

"Valdes is calm and focussed on continuing his excellent season that he and the team are having and the last thing he wants is to create a bad atmosphere."
